Med Chemist/Staff Research Associate I/II Series*
The Med Chemist / SRA I/II positions will support drug discovery operations focused the synthesis of small molecule drug candidates. The candidate will work with their supervisor to choose appropriate drug candidates and will utilize the skills necessary to synthesize those candidates in the chemistry laboratory.
The employee will receive training on running novel chemical reactions. The employee will also be responsible for analyzing and managing data from each experiment and will discuss results with supervisor; an organized laboratory notebook is essential.
The Med Chemist / SRA I/II will work with additional scientists in the group, including biologists and medicinal chemists, and a rapid turnaround is critical to success for the group.
