Nicholas Henderson, PhD
Postdoctoral Scholar, Condello Lab
Nick Henderson received his BS in biology from Lafayette College. He received his PhD in pharmacology from Duke University in 2019. Under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Lew, he studied the mechanisms through which cells sense and respond to chemical gradients, using the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model.
Nick joined the Condello lab as a postdoctoral scholar in January 2020. He plans to use cellular and animal models of neurodegenerative disease to study the relationship between TREM2 signaling in microglia and protein misfolding and spreading.
