Sue-Ann Mok, PhD
Assistant Adjunct Professor, Department of Neurology
Dr. Mok obtained her PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Robert Campenot. Her doctoral studies focused on elucidating long-distance signaling mechanisms regulating neuron survival during development.
Dr. Mok's research interests include understanding the functions/roles of chaperones in the context of neurodegenerative disorders. Her main research focus is to determine how chaperones recognize amyloidogenic protein substrates.
